Argentina v Paraguay 1-1

Paraguay maintain its leadership in South americas World Cup qualifiers after seven matches, having held the Argentines to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Argentina needs a victory to overcome Paraguay and move first, but Gabriel Heinze's own goal on 14 minutes did not help things for the home.

Agüero made the score level at the time mark, but a winning goal never came. Argentina played most of the match with a man less like Carlos Tevez gave a second yellow card after only thirty minutes.

Paraguay lead with 14 points from seven games and Argentina are in second place with twelve points, but could be overtaken by Colombia later tonight.
