Manchester United team bus attacked

Manchester United's team bus was attacked as he left Stamford Bridge after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea. A bottle was launched in the windscreen as the bus made its way through London so the team can continue its journey toward the northwest.

United officials confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident, but the windshield was cracked.

"Yes. There was an incident but the matter is now in the hands of the police," said a spokesman for the club.

United's last visit to Stamford Bridge remains the subject of an FA investigation after Patrice Evra was involved in a post-match fracas with groundsman Sam Bethell, while Rio Ferdinand was forced to apologize to a female match for kicking butler a ball in it.
