Diego Maradona to sign for Inter?






Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed it is set to offer a job to the Argentine football legend Diego Armando Maradona.



Maradona is widely regarded as the greatest footballer in the history of the game, and during his illustrious career he won the World Cup, league titles in Argentina and Italy, the Spanish Cups and Italy, and a horde of each of the honors including best player in the World Cup 1986, FIFA Goal of the Century, and FIFA Player of the Century (People's Choice).



The first is best remembered for international playmaker clearly dragging a half Argentina team all the way to World Cup glory in 1986, scoring the greatest goal of all time against England in the quarterfinals, and another almost as brilliant against Belgium in the semifinals.



Meanwhile, El Pibe de Oro is best remembered for his spell in Italy seven years in Naples, where he directed a romantic southerners only two Scudetti in its history in 1987 and 1990.



Now it seems as if Maradona could be set to return to the peninsula, as Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that is set to offer Argentina a job at the club. "I think we're going to take a role of Diego," Moratti told the Gazzetta dello Sport.



"He represents something important and that has escaped their problems."



It is believed that the ex-hero of Boca Juniors will be offered the job as a talent scout in South America.
