The former Brazil World Cup winner Ronaldo claims to join Manchester City.

The 31-year-old, three times World Footballer of the Year is without a club since leaving AC Milan in the summer and is currently recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered in February.

Ronaldo said he was willing to establish ties with fellow Brazilian Robinho to Eastlands."I like the project that Manchester City have been presented me," said Ronaldo. "They want to make the club one of the best in the world and I think I can help.

"It's the best offer I received and will be very interesting to play with Robinho. Me and him together, we can score over 50 goals."
