Chelsea surveillance Robinho

Chelsea is interested in signing Real Madrid's Brazilian forward Robinho - but have not offered £ 48m in an attempt to bring to Stamford Bridge. BBC Sport understands the 24-year-old is on the list of targets drawn up by Chelsea's new manager, Robinho's compatriot Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Chelsea have not done so, as stated by sources at the Bernabeu, made an offer of £ 48m. Robinho is unhappy that Real have tried to use him in their bid to sign Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Scolari is now working as far as new faces ahead of his first campaign Premier League and Robinho se cree que stands ready to work with former Brazil coach. Robinho said: "It would be a dream for me to work with Luiz Felipe Scolari, who is one of the best coaches in the world.

"I have always spoken highly of him and he has always spoken well of me, long before he was at Chelsea. In 2003, when I was unknown in Europe, he called me to play in a game nonprofit. It was but short enough for me to see his style and character. "

And Robinho's agent Wagner Ribeiro, it was reported in Spain to say: "Madrid have not worth as he deserves and I do not like the fact that it was incorporating the Ronaldo deal. Money is not the problem for us now.

"What matters is for Robinho to leave the club and play at Chelsea Scolari."

Real, however, are reluctant to sanction any to deal with Robinho while abandoning its attempt to achieve end-to Portugal Ronaldo in Spain remains the balance - and this could still cool the interest of Chelsea.(bbc)
