Behrami for West Ham

After five years in Serie A, Valon Behrami has decided to try his luck in the Premier League and has completed a move from Lazio to West Ham. The Swiss international has become an accessory in the Biancocelesti side, but relations between the former Verona man and the capital club was sour.

Behrami Lazio demanded that allowed him to go this summer and even threatened to use the Fifa article 17 to liberate themselves from Aquila. After links with the Bundesliga faded, intervened and West Ham have agreed on an agreement that considers Lazio will receive 5 million pounds.

The 23-year-old was handed a five-year contract in East London and seemed happy with the fresh start. "I'm happy to play for West Ham and to play in the Premier League," he said. "It's a dream come true.
