THE CLUB Londoners complaint to Manchester United and Liverpool

The Tottenham Hotspur reported on Saturday by a communique on its website that has complained to the Premier League while Manchester United for his contacts with the Bulgarian Berbatov as Rafa Benitez to Liverpool in its negotiations with the Irishman Robbie Keane.

Last Friday, the Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson said he had "good expectations" that the Bulgarian striker Berbatov played in the Old Trafford club next season, while Liverpool also showed its interest in an posiblre signing of Keane last week.

Thus, the Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, accused Ferguson of "arrogant" and of violating the rules of the Premier League, which require that before entering into negotiations with any player, the club concerned must ask permission to the team in which militates.

"It's an example of pure arrogance. It's probably one of the worst crimes of any manager in the Premier League so far and is incredibly hypocritical after his recent comments on Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid," he added.

Levy said in the statement that denounced the situation before the Premier League after both clubs contacts, without his permission, with the agents and their players. "We have made an official complaint about the conduct of Manchester United. Benitez made similar comments in relation to Robbie and early this week made an official complaint about the conduct of Liverpool," he said.

"The behaviour of both clubs has been shameful. We told them that we did not have any interest in selling or Robbie or Dimitar, so we should refrain from pursuing the player," he continued.

However, the English club appears resigned to losing his two strikers, who together scored 46 goals last season and, according to its chairman, are already thinking about their future destinations. "I have no desire to sell and so far we have not accepted any offers but when a player has his head elsewhere and their commitment is absent can become a negative influence in the dressing room," he said Levy.--elmundo
