Scolari: The signing of Robinho is a matter of the directive, not mine

The Brazilian Luiz Felipe Scolari, who made his debut on Sunday in the English League as coach of Chelsea against Portsmouth, said that the Madrid signing Robinho not concerned, because it is a "matter of the directive."

"Robinho is very good player, but I do not know what will happen. It is not my job, is a work of the directive of the men who handle the money. It's a fantastic player who can play at any club in the world, but I'm happy with the players I have, "he said at the press conference prior to his first match in the English League.

"If we lose against Portsmouth, will not be because there is Robinho will not play because well," said 'Felipao' to talk about the expected signing star of the 'Blues'.

The coach Brazilian world champion in Korea-Japan 2002 with his country runner and with Portugal in 2004, does not believe that his reputation depends on the success at Chelsea.

"Unless we win the championship, will not be because it has not worked hard, but because one has been better than us. We respect all teams. If you do not win, does not mean that I am a bad coach," he said.

In this regard, said that the fight for the title is not merely a matter of four teams (Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool). "I have seen many matches of Premier this preseason. I saw at least eight teams playing very well. Tottenham and Portsmouth have good sets. Many teams can fight for the first six positions," he said.
