Juventus lifted the trophy Moretti without scoring a goal in open play after winning his second penalty shot against Milan. This game decided on Moretti Trophy after penalties to Juventus beat Napoli and Milan overcame the Partenopei for Alberto Paloschi winner in the second 45 minutes of each meeting.
Juve were eager for revenge after their 4-1 Thrashing in the Berlusconi Trophy, but had hardly been a night of goalmouth incident. Carlo Ancelotti stuck with a face similar to the 11 who won their opener Zeljko Kalac, but took over between the posts.
