''We're Waiting For Man United To Slip''

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has joined the queue of Blues waiting for Manchester United to falter ahead of the final day of Premier League action this Sunday...

Chelsea defeated Manchester United 2-1 in a must-win game for them which saw the two sides go even on points at the top of the table, with Manchester United ahead only on goal difference.

That said, their 17+ advantage over Chelsea in that regard is unassailable, thus with just one game left to play, United must drop points at Wigan Athletic for the Blues to have a chance of winning the title.

The two will also meet in Moscow on May 21 in Chelsea's first ever Champions League final, and Manchester United's first in almost a decade, when they famously scored twice in the last few minutes to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in Barcelona.

With the stakes being almost dead even in that game - or with Chelsea even having an advantage, thanks to their recent win - it is the Premier League encounter that is first on the agenda of each and every Chelsea player.

Mikel - unlikely to play in the Champions League showpiece - is hoping United slip up this Sunday, and is fully confident his side will take advantage if they do.

"We have a pretty good chance to win the Premier League, and in the Champions League as well, so we just have to keep winning our games and wait for Manchester United to slip up," he explained.

"In the last game hopefully, no one knows, they may drop two points and if we win against Bolton we win the title."
