Scott Parker has warned Manchester United

West Ham United star Scott Parker has warned Manchester United to be prepared for a fight this weekend.

Hammers boss Alan Curbishley has inadvertently stirred up controversy ahead of the match by admitting in an editorial piece hat it would be a "great injustice" if Chelsea were to pip United to the table. That, combined with West Ham's comfortable mid-table position, has conspiracy theorist buzzing, though Parker has scoffed at the suggestion that his side will give anything less than 100 percent.

"We're certainly not going to roll over," the ex Charlton ace insisted. "We're professional footballers and we take pride in what we do. We have to try to take something out of the game for ourselves.

"We can't get involved or even spend too much time looking at what the game means for Manchester United, we want to finish 10th and it would be a massive disappointment if we did not manage it."

The Hammers have beaten United in the last three meetings between the sides, and another unlikely result will give Chelsea the initiative going into the final game of the season.
