Prediction MU-West Ham 3-0 or 2-0?

Alan Curbishley may hold an excellent record over the Red Devils in his time as manager of the Hammers, but it would take a brave man indeed to bet against a Manchester United team continuing their quest for domestic glory by winning this game.

The West Ham manager will undoubtedly be aware that whilst the celebratory scenes witnessed at Old Trafford on Tuesday night could prove distracting to some squads, there can be little doubt that Sir Alex Ferguson will have whipped his players in to the right frame of mind for the visit of Curbishley’s side.

I can thus see a game full of attacking endeavour from the defending champions ending up with a win by several goals, in the process sending a clear message to Chelsea of ‘catch us if you can.’
