Donadoni confirms Del Piero and Chiellini as holders

Roberto Donadoni, technician of the Italian national football team, said it intends to make "three or four changes" for the match against Romania, and that two of these will be Alessandro Del Piero and Giorgio Chiellini.

"I will make three or four changes regarding the training that played against Holland. With Ale (Del Piero) and Giorgio, I must give a respite to those who have played more," said Donadoni at the press conference of Letizgrund Stadion, where it faces the Romanian selection.

The entry into the field of Del Piero leads to a change of system, because Donadoni affixed to the master as a second tip. "We see it as a second striker, but we must not download all responsibility on him," said the technician, who nonetheless expects the Juventus player of the best: "First of Romania have the highest expectation on his game."

Italy, thus, will play with three forwards, with Mauro Camoranesi, Luca Toni and Antonio di Natale, with a centre forward and another attacker from behind, Del Piero.

The coach said that does not care about the heavy criticism it has received. "It's part of my job," said Italian coach who believes that the "anger" he feels his team can be good if it is channelled in the right way. "It's important for them to feel that rage. It's a good reaction if channelled. I do not think that fear is necessarily bad. I speak of a healthy fear," he said.

Regarding how he sees the team, said he has seen in the whole way and wanting to react, but that does not give guarantees. "I also had the same feelings on the eve of the encounter against Holland," he said. "We will have ninety minutes to mark. We must have patience, manage well the opponent's game and know how to catch your breath, because we will have to run," he said.
