Rafa Benitez, technician of the month in Premiership

The spectacular start of the season at Liverpool has made him their coach, Spanish Rafa Benitez, the designation as the best technician in October after putting the Reds on top of the table in the Premier League.

"I am very happy to receive this award on behalf of the entire coaching staff, because they are doing very well," Benitez acknowledged. "Men like Sammy Lee, Mauricio Pellegrini, Xavi Valero and Paco de Miguel," he concluded.

The award is granted by a committee composed of professionals and amateurs, and it comes to Benitez after closing a big month in which signed all victories. The streak began with a 2-0 at home against Manchester City, followed by a 3-2 at Anfield to Wigan. Later, Liverpool achieved a memorable 1-2 victory at the home of Chelsea and, finally, would end in October imposed before the Portsmouth 1-0.

"It is important to us, and it is important because it means that the team is playing well. You can not be the coach of the month if the team does not win." "This means that the club is in a good position. I hope we receive more awards like this, because it will mean that we will be in a good position at the bottom of the league."

Disputed 12 days of the English league, Liverpool is currently second in the ranking with the same points that the leader, Chelsea, though this took a heavy blow to fall eliminated in the Carling Cup at the hands of Tottenham's reborn for a Redknapp convincing 4-2. A defeat of that Benitez has defended his weekly news conference: "We have a good team, that's clear. And it's not a team man. We have many players of 23 or 24 years. That is very good when you think of the future of the club. "

Now, attention is focused on Liverpool in the visit of Bolton this weekend, because that is a rival in the last two days has been imposed at Manchester City and the incredible Hull. "We are disappointed after the Carling Cup, but the league is another competition, so we try to be up up in classification and learn from our mistakes," said Benitez. "When you play with the top motivation is there and it's easier, that's why these kinds of matches can be dangerous," he added.
