Chelsea-Liverpool= Cech: 0-0 Would Do Just Fine; Prediction by Ade Syahlan 0-1

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is looking forward to facing Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final...

The Blues hold the advantage courtesy of a late, late leveller at Anfield, with a John Arne Riise putting a Salomon Kalou cross past his own keeper in stoppage time.

As such, if Cech remains unbeaten tomorrow night in the return leg, Chelsea are guaranteed to progress to the final in Moscow to face Manchester United.

That said, he knows that going into the game looking for 0-0 is too risky a tactic.

"It is always difficult playing a game trying to get a 0-0," Cech said. "We will start out in a positive mood and try to score because that would make it more difficult for them. Of course, if it gets to 85 minutes and there's no score then you can think about seeing out the game, but from the first minute we will try to score. Every clean sheet matters but this one would be even sweeter because it would mean we win the tie. It's a nice challenge for me."

Cech looked back on the two Liverpool losses at this stage in the competition in previous years and insists that a repeat is out of the question, and their past eliminations will drive them to succeed and make it third time lucky.

"We remember those semi-finals and we don't want to repeat that experience," continued the 25-year-old. "It could be one of the driving forces for us. We were ready to go to the final on the two previous occasions. We have the opportunity again and we don't want to miss out on another one.

But prediction by Ade Adran Syahlan, owner blog, Chelsea v Liverpool 0-1.
