Inter still 'want' to Adriano




The Inter Milan director Gabriele Oriali said the club in Serie A, Italian football's intention to retain the controversial Brazilian striker Adriano and not make a bid for the Argentine striker Diego Milito from Genoa.



"I do not think we do anything in the January transfer market," said Oriali, quoted by the club's website (www.inter.it). "We never said that Adriano would be. The intention is to retain it all. It depends solely on him," he added.



Adriano did not have a good relationship with the coach Portuguese José Mourinho, who left him out of the last calls due to its anger at the unprofessional attitude of the front.



The robust attacker had already had some disagreements with the former coach of the team nerazzurro, Roberto Mancini, who opted for it last season on loan at Sao Paulo in Brazil.



The captain of Inter, the Argentinian defender Javier Zanetti said on Saturday that the stock Adriano wants to stay, but clarified that a change of attitude by the front.



"He must understand that we want to be happy and we want to work like the others to be happy with itself and contributing to the excellent results of the team," said Zanetti.



Meanwhile, interest by Milito Inter-scorer of the current Serie A with 12 much-increased recently, but executives made it clear that Argentine striker's arrival depended on the distance from Adriano.
