Hull also draws a point at Anfield

Hull City, one of the revelations of the season in the Premiership, pulled a point from Anfield before a Liverpool that was down to two goals in the first half. The group of Rafa Benitez, with a large deployment offensive after the break, you could lose the lead if the Chelsea win at West Ham on Sunday.

The reds, with Reina, Arbeloa, Alonso and Riera in the starting line, click again to his liking, which have yielded four draws in nine commitments. Two goals from Gerrard, who leveled the swift advantage of the 'tiger', had no continuity after the break, where the multiple charges were not found rewarding goal.

Sometimes the clearest carried the name of Sami Hyypia with a header that ended in the post and Nabil El Zhar, with another auction that grazed the wood. Maybe the result would have changed with the presence in the field of the injured Fernando Torres.

In the previous match, Rafa Benitez had been assured that his team had an 80% chance of winning the title in the Premier ansado if he continued at the top of the table in the next three weeks. In the next day visit to Arsenal, who returned to disappoint with a poor draw in the stadium of Middlesbrough (1-1).

For his part, the astonishing group of Phil Brown, playing in the Premiership for the first time in its history, sits in sixth place. It has only lost once at home and has already knocked down a team like Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham and West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester United could not take advantage of the failure of Liverpool to crop up. Tottenham slowed to that of Ferguson in the return of Berbatov at White Hart Lane (0-0). The Bulgarian striker was the best of United, despite the constant booing from the stands.
