Everton deserved more than the tie (0-0) against Chelsea, which sought to take advantage of the matched Liverpool to take the lead. The English league is still commanded by the panel of Rafael Benitez at the end of the 18th day, a point ahead of Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Chelsea had the obstacle of the expulsion of John Terry to 34 minutes per game for a ticket to Leon Osman that the referee interpreted as a violent action.
