Peter Crouch hopes to become an instant hit with Portsmouth fans Wembley repeat their heroics of two years ago in the FA Community Shield on Sunday.
Striker Crouch Liverpool hit the winner against Chelsea in 2006 with a trademark header, and hopes to repeat the feat against Manchester United.
He said: "I have returned to Portsmouth to further my career and it would be a great start to do something special."
