Beckham to join Milan in UEFA

AC Milan David Beckham has enrolled in the list of players who will compete the second phase of the UEFA Cup, despite the fact that English may only compete in a round since returning to the United States in early March.

The media highlighted the entry of former player of Manchester United and Real Madrid in European competition, as this could mean the possible permanence of Beckham in the team in Milan.

Beckham arrived at Milan in early January on loan from the U.S. team Los Angeles Galaxy, to take advantage of the winter break in the U.S., but in recent weeks has discussed the possibility that English will remain in Italy.

If Beckham returns as planned in March to the U.S. to honor its contract, disputaría only two matches in the round with the German Werder Bremen.

Moreover, Milan included in the list for the second European competition also Italian defender Alessandro Nesta, who returns to the pitch after a long injury.

They stayed off the list, the beginning of the season, the Brazilian Emerson and Marco Borriello, both injured.(source: Elmundo)
