Manchester City have today insisted that it will not be signing Ronaldo. The legend Brazil has stated that he is weighing up a mega-offer of cash-rich Premier League club.
Ronaldo, 31, is out of contract after leaving Milan in the summer.
But the city have already shown that is not what the injury-prone striker Eastlands.
A club spokesman said: "We have shown an interest in the past bringing the player to club football in appropriate circumstances and talked with him and his representatives.
"However, we have decided not to pursue the matter."
