Liverpool remains steady

* Liverpool was offensive, creative and deployed a good football.

* The PSV did not put much opposition to gambling from those of Benitez.

Dominating from start to finish, Liverpool continued today with the good run to win without difficulty PSV Dutch eleven barely disturbed at Anfield for training local and sank with the actions of the Dutchman Dirk Kuyt, Robbie Keane's Irish, with his first for both the "reds" and the brilliant Steven Gerrard (3-1).

The wards of technical Madrid Rafa Benitez exhibited before his legion of faithful followers face their winning smiles at the beginning of this season both on the "Premier" as in the continental tournament.

They were offensive, creative and deployed eleven compact with few cracks. Host training did not have to suffer to impose a solid football before a club that the PSV-skating before the Atletico de Madrid in the first European clash of the campaign, which dominated.

The men who directs Huub Stevens, defeated by the Athletico Madrid earlier in the day, believed to have learned the lesson but returned to throw in lack ingenuity and determination. Of course, the first half was dire for the entire Dutch. And no surprise that his little expertise they become easy prey for the English team.

Benitez returned to call the Brazilian Fabio Aurelio and left at the eleventh day holder, in place of Andrea Dossena, the only change for the chosen the "boss" with regard to the training they beat Everton at the weekend in the Goodison derby Park.

The "reds" not lowered our guard nor the tempo. The premises, with plenty of Spaniards in the title-Pepe Reina, Alvaro Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso, Albert Riera and Fernando Torres-soon mark their territory and they did it by transforming the marker to the four-minute match.

The Dutchman Dirk Kuyt took advantage of a Swedish rejection of the PSV goalkeeper, Andreas Isaksson Icelandic, a draft of the Spanish door to Fernando Torres, who had taken over a corner from Steven Gerrard, to finish and give the advantage to host the training.

There was a moment somewhat tense in the first half. Liverpool returned to the corral to its Dutch rival in the area, where the Irishman Robbie Keane, the former Tottenham Hotspur player, was shot down in minute 20, by Simons.

Despite the outrage of Keane and the screams from the stands calling for a penalty, the German referee, Felix Brych not warned the entry and the incident did not transpired.

An error Kuyt almost gives wings to PSV at a time when Stevie Gerrard and Jamie Carragher were key to restoring calm to eleven local Gerrard.

Following threats to the goal of Isaksson from Xabi Alonso, of Kuyt, Torres, arrived at last, the expected goal of Irish Keane, the first to sign the former "Spur" with the Liverpool shirt, a nice finishing from inside the large area to go through the right side of Torres, who threw his hand speed to get out of your top marking of Carlos Bran. Ovation from the stands and shouts of joy from the former Tottenham.

With the advantage of his party, the script followed a similar pattern during the second half. Again, it was Liverpool who created the danger. There was order and coordination in the field, attempts at goal from Torres and Gerrard, although the PSV ventured into the area just over the English.

The captain of Liverpool, the brilliant Steven Gerrard, dealt a third blow to his host, a magnificent Golazo at minute 75, which was attended by Fabio Aurelio. With him, the arrogant English midfielder joined both the hundredth for the Anfield team.

Automatically, the PSV reacted. Now, although he did too late. Scored for the staffing of the Netherlands substitute Danny Koevermans, who jumped out to the field in the 60th minute and was right from the edge of the penalty area on a pass from Balazs Dzsudzsak, who also tested fortune with a shot that aborted the Spanish Pepe Reina.
