Liverpool has signed the captain of the Irish selection Robbie Keane, 28, from Tottenham and that will form a pair with the Spanish Fernando Torres, by approximately 24 million euros, as reported by the British club.
The striker, who spent his last six years as a footballer in London and is the top scorer in the history of the Irish selection with 33 goals, has signed a contract for four seasons with the Anfield club.
The footballer, formed in Leeds United and also step a short time at Inter Milan, is the fifth acquisition of equipment that directs Rafael Benitez after the David Ngog, Diego Cavalieri, Philipp Degen and Andrea Dossena.
